Taddeus (Adriano Celentano) - the owner of hotel Grandee-hotel "Excelsior". To hotel 50 years are executed. In this occasion there comes set of guests of honour, among which enamoured in Taddeus the visitor Ilde Vivaldi (Eleonora Giorgi). It in every possible way tries to win its heart, but unsuccessfully. It tries to commit suicide twice, but Taddeus each time rescues it. When it is going to leave hotel it does not die nearly of love.
